Cover 2 presents itself as much lighter than Cover 1 & in a way more modern. Here, the design produced by the stitching is completely geometrical & is obtained by more classic ‘long-armed’ sewing machines. The thread may be toning or in a contrasting colour (choice of 5 thread colours) whilst the quilting is obtained with the use of 200 g/m 2 poly- ester. This version of the cover may be dry cleaned & is easily removable – so, as life pro- gresses, one could imagine changing Cover 1 for the more mature and bourgeois Cover 2, simply by changing the cover.
