With a series of rooms of spacious restored buildings dotted throughout the property, a central living room overlooks a stunning Java-stone lined pool and looks beyond the emerald rice field terraces. Reflecting nature by day, sparkling with mood lighting at night, the pool is surrounded by a stone terrace fashioned with antique teak sofas, sun beds, and occasional tables and chairs. Each of the exquisite wooden buildings have been purchased in Java, to celebrate the unique artisans of Indonesia. The Permata Ayung Private Estate was created by businessman client, as a private retreat for his family and close relatives. He began with his search for a piece of untouched paradise where true privacy was possible. After an exhaustive search, he was able to buy parcels of land, antique old wooden houses and combined them to create his own private resort. The Bamboo Spa and Wellness Center. The spa, a bamboo cathedral, was a very personal project for the client. Designed as a private spa faces the river and offers a full range of wellness and beauty treatments by professional spa therapists. Created entirely from bamboo on the edge of the river, the sound of water surrounds and captivates, soothing the senses and promoting total relaxation. A spa, steam room, outdoor tubs and showers are part of the spa complex. Rising like a cathedral over the surrounding trees. From single and double massage rooms to a dedicated spa room offering manicures, pedicures and hair treatments. The spa is a fantasy that reflects the organic philosophies of Permata Ayung Private Estate. At the river’s edge, beside the clean, flowing water, two natural stone pools have been carved from natural rock. Harnessing the energy of the river and the spiritual energy of the land, this is one of the most serene and beautiful hideaways on the estate. A special feature of the spa is the massage pod suspended above the river on cables. This site was set between the riverís edge and a five-meter cliff with water pouring down it. If you are going to be on the river, then you should really experience the river and feel the water ñ so we also suspended a teardrop on cables above the Ayung.
