Located in Jakarta, a chaotic and highly dense city, a 6 m wide and 15 m deep plot in a narrow street is built to become a comfortable and functional house. The house is designed for a family of three generations, who are inspired by Chinese culture and the beauty of nature. Natural light is skillfully permeated to every corner of the house through stairs as a "link" that bridges all the split levels to improve the microclimate and also increase visibility and interaction between the family members.
