Description

Charchar bar and grill is a restaurant located in the heart of Seminyak, Bali. The architecture is a response and a celebration of the vibrant pedestrian circulation in Jl Kayu Aya, not found in many Indonesian cities. This is achieved by creating a tribune/stair structure facing the busstling street, creating interaction on both guest and pedestrian passing and at the same time allowing the vibrant ambience into the indoor space. The ground floor is an indoor restaurant influenced by pan-asian culture and geometrys. The first floor, connected by ramp is and outdoor dining covered by permeable secondary skins and greenerys provide good air circulation.
