Description

This project is located on north Bandung area, surrounded by pristine landscape and scenery hill. The project is proposed to keep a balance between residential units and natural landscape. Based on the regulation, a building coverage for this district is below 30% of coverage area. The other challenge is the sloped land. Thus, the housing units are divided into 5 types to accommodate the specific and unique site. The design of the houses is started by eliminating the border of outdoor and indoor by creating large green spaces and creating visual connection between resident and environment. Each house unit is provided with an external green space accessible from the living room or the bedroom, offering each resident a convenient living and independence. A partially covered terrace extends the living spaces by providing an unobstructed view to the valley. Giving onto the landscape, residents are provided backyard with privileged views over the private and collective green spaces.  I involved on this project when I was working with "LABO. Architecture" and led by Deddy Wahjudi and Nelly Daniel.
