NLC is an emerging eye clinic located in Surabaya. The clinic has 2 floors; the lower level is for public and patients area and the upper level is for operational management. When first entering the space, there is the reception and lounge area with self-registration area and apothecary. Next, there are 3 consultation and examination rooms as well as Museum of eyeglasses to encourage the patients to donate the eyeglasses and take pictures after their surgeries as a memoir. Afterward, there is the changing room area, preparation room for the patients to get ready and recovery room after surgeries. There are 2 surgery rooms, doctors lounge and the back area is mainly for the staff lounge, equipment and cleaning room. The second level is for the office management, staff areas, meeting room, library and conference room for seminars. The concept of this project is to create a space that is attractive to the young generation/ consumers, playful, a not-so ordinary clinic and cozy.
